If you enjoy the content here on BigYellowDog.com, I highly recommend you pick up a copy of Marley and Me by John Grogan. This book (over 1.2 million copies in print so far!) will instantly hit home with old and new owners of Labrador Retrievers. As I read it, I couldn't help but think my Lab, Gabby, might have been separated at birth from the honery Marley depicted in this novel. From the tales of home furnishings being destroyed to the many moments of unabashed loyalty and love, I laughed at the uncanny similarities as I read the book. I also found myself deeply touched as the author struggles with the problems old age can bring to our Labs as my family, too, is dealing with these problems right now. Definitely a page turner.
